Ranked amongst Ireland's finest baronial residences when it was completed in 1862, the dream home of the second Earl of Dunraven embodies over 130 years of quality which endures in the culture of the hotel and its facilities. The elaborate architecture is a miracle of stonework, arches, gargoyles, chimneys, window frames etc.
The interior spaces are designed on a grand scale and perhaps the most renowned is the Minstrel's Gallery, a 40 m long, 8 m high room that is lined with 17th century Flemish Choir Stalls. The Manor was restored to it's original splendour in the 1980's and became one of Ireland's premier luxury resorts.
