Designed by Robert Trent Jones and host To The Irish Open 2007 - 2009, Adare is one of the best parkland golf courses in Ireland, against the backdrop of magnificent Adare Manor. Adare Golf Club is set in an 820 acre wooded estate through which the River Maigue meanders and borders many of the golf holes. The back nine features one great hole after another. The feature hole is the eighteenth with water all along the left and the approach to the green having to carry the river. The luxurious Manor hotel is an ideal base from which to play some of the top golf links in Ireland located close by such as Lahinch and Ballybunion.
