County Sligo Rosses Point, County Sligo
County Sligo Golf Club is a centenarian with all the dignity and maturity of age, this is one on Irelands great championship golf links. The golf club has hosted most of Ireland's major championships in its long and venerable history. Three large beaches beneath the cliffs keep the Atlantic at bay to the west of the course, while towering Benbulben mountain on the land side competes with the ocean for scenic splendour. The ocean wind is a constant factor but the 3rd, 5th, 10th and 14th holes have very satisfying downhill drives to compensate. An inspiring challenging links in a beautiful setting.
