The European Brittas Bay, County Wicklow, Ireland
Though the European Golf Club only opened for play in 1987, it has quickly gained a reputation as one of best links in Ireland. It is featuring on many top 100 courses of the world's lists and three of it's holes were recently picked in GOLF magazines top 500 in the world. None of this is surprising when you experience the rugged dunes, deep bunkers, sea breezes and undulating greens that characterize The European Golf Club. Three holes run parallel to the Irish Sea and the beach assuming the tide is out is not out of bounds!
